Licensed Master Social Worker

Wendy Svatora, LMSW, ACSW, CCM

Wendy has practiced since 1999, from Community Mental Health to leadership roles in medical, psych inpatient, and behavioral health care. She offers warm, collaborative, skills-focused telehealth care (in Michigan, New York, and soon Florida) - to teens through older adults facing OCD, eating disorders, trauma, and more. Wendy works with OCD in all its forms, including skin picking (excoriation) and hair pulling (trichotillomania), and with eating disorders of every type, including ARFID, plus body dysmorphic disorder. She also supports neurodivergent clients (ADHD and Autism) and trauma survivors, including veterans, first responders, survivors of childhood sexual abuse, and people living with medical trauma. Her practice also includes personality disorders, mood disorders, sleep concerns, and older adults, plus anyone exploring their values and beliefs. She uses ERP, EMDR, IFS, and DBT as flexible tools, not a rigid script, and her style is warm, genuine, and collaborative. After more than 25 years across community mental health and hospital leadership, she still loves the lightbulb moments when clients gain real mastery over their symptoms, and she celebrates those wins with them.
