Gena Jorgensen holds an MSW from Michigan State University with a specialization in clinical social work with families. After 19 years in child welfare — protective services, foster care, adoption, juvenile justice, and human trafficking — she now sees children as young as 6 through adulthood. She uses sand tray, directive play, and expressive methods, and offers TF-CBT when a caregiver can take part. She is based in East Lansing with virtual care statewide, and is active in advocacy around human trafficking and sextortion among school-aged children.
